meet lindsay

Lindsay Davis is the owner and creator of Fait ici. She is also one of the few items in the store not made in Quebec.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia (it’s a nice place too), she fell in love with Quebec and Montreal when she moved to the city to study design. Hopelessly in love with food, Lindsay realized she had entered foodie heaven shortly after arriving in La Belle Province.

Lindsay’s other passion is the environment. Her work as a designer taught her about the need to do business in a sustainable way. It isn’t about giving things up, just about making sound choices when we consume.

Fait ici is Lindsay’s way of giving consumers a choice by being transparent with the facts. It is also the realization of her vision for local-focused, responsible consumption with a modern approach.
